How to Calculate EVDO Site Resource Utilization

Hello Colleagues,

Can anyone tell me how I can calculate an EVDO sites utilization. I need this information so that I can track congested EVDO sites and identify the ones that need capacity upgrade.

All responses/suggestions will be much appreciated.

There's 2 things you can look at, both in M2000.

1. bandwidth utilisation of your backhaul, whether E1 or IP, in percentage.
2. RF time slot occupancy, in percentage.

If its reaching 80% or above, you can consider them to be congesting.

naturally EvDO will limited By CE, TimeSlot Occupancies, E1/T1 or ETH [Backhaul] if all reached to 85% [standard for each vendor or operator is different] we can said your sector reach full occupied

So Supposed we have enough CE with revision-A protocol for DO,
How many E1 do we need for 3 EVDO sectors at 80% of slot occupancy
