Just wanted to find out if any network you working on has only 1 carrier resulting in voice and HSDPA in the same carrier.

Has there been any impact study to either voice or HSDPA traffic ?

We have 2 carriers but not for all sites, so a lot of clusters have cells with voice and HSDPA on the same carrier.

Voice and HSDPA on a same carrier is a classical configuration. To minimize the impact on voice, you should activate dynamic code and power allocation between R99 and HSDPA with R99 voice preemption (shared resources with priority for voice). This will minimize the impact on the R99 service.
If you want to improve the HSDPA performances, you can activate the second carrier and choose to dedicate one carrier for R99 and one carrier for HSDPA. In that case on the second carrier, HSDPA will be able to use the full codes and full power and so enhance the HSDPA throughput performances.

Yup, I'm aware of that already, I want to know if there is any study to quantify it in term of HSDPA throughput degradation in case a cell is handling too much erlang ? Also what would be your idea of a cell with high voice traffic , ie how much erlang per site ?

You can refer to this document (chapter3: control pannel).

when using voice and HSDPA in same carrier, you take care of decreasing EcNo, Load cotrol, code tree, CE, Dynamic Code Allocation.
