Hi RBS 6000 experts,

i want to know why when i configure an 8+4 on the 1st DUG only port A and C light on the DUG. Meaning all RUS Data 1 ports light but on the DUG only ports A and C light.:( Like wise, when configure a 4+8 on the 2nd DUG only port A and B light on the DUG.
This means i fail to successfully bring up an 8+8+8. How do we over come this problem if possible post me some RBS 6102 and RBS 6201 idbs with configurations of 8+6+8 then 8+12+8 and 8+4+8 for GSM 1800 or 900 bands.

Please avail me with a solution.

Thanks

Hi All,

am incline to conclude that the E******* Research and Development Engineers plus the Test Engineers just rushed to Release the RBS 6000 variants minus trying GSM configurations like 8+8+8, 12+4+8 on these cabinets.

Because if they had done these configurations on these cabinets, then they would have come across the same CPRI problems not lighting on the DUGs.

Please if you work in E*******, assist us with pin point answers.:)

Thanks
