Hi Experts,

What could be the reason for high TCH drop due to Low SS on uplink. Major drops are on OL. Site has no alarms and is not overshooting as well. ACCMIN is 102. Its a Multi-band Cell

Please advice.

Thanks :)

try to restrict the signal strength criterion on OL. Adjust LOL/LOLHYST.

Adjusting pathloss criteria (LOL) is a good idea for first step. Don't forget to check traffic distributions for those two bands also.
In your case you will have to reduce LOL with with 3 or 5 dB steps.

Which is the algorithm you use (E1 or E3) ?

Also I am using CHAP10.

1. what is the drop call status on UL subcell
2. TA profile for OL and UL is same or not
3. Morphology is Urban or Suburban, building types
4. Antenna Type

Some time Hardware issue (Dxu or dtru) can cause this problem in case of high number of drops, try replace the hardware and see if drops reduced or not?

Hi Jam,

As initial analysis, we should check the physical antenna configuration ( Azimuth, Tilting & Antenna Type )

Thanks
