Please assist me with huawei BTS3900 LMT software

please can any one out there assist me with Huawei BTS3900 configuration software (LMT that is used to log on to BTS3900). I need it urgently.

Am new to huawei BTS 3900 equipment but i think the software i need is the one used to commission this all in one 2g/3g BTS3900 cabinet.

However it now appears like the BTS 3900 project am to be involved in will be boring since i will not interact with this huawei BTS 3900. :mad:

Now let me ask you a question; In event this BTS 3900 has internal alarms, which software can i use to guide me in pin pointing the cause of alarms.:confused::confused: the reason i ask is in E******* they use OMT for 2G while 3G and may be 4G they use RBS EM.

Please throw some light on this because i hate boring projects.:eek:

This LMT is for NodeB RAN10 version, before use it you must be sure this is your version.

Basically what my interpretation of your post is that this LMT is not an all in One(as in it can't be used for 2G and 3G access).:(

Excatly, this is for 3G and for specific RAN version (R10 in this case). For some function you may use Web Based LMT for both 2G/3G.

Yes, separated LMT for 2G and 3G in Huawei. Beside that for M2000 is the same ways, asking why? Let's Huawei will be explained ;)

Hi we are currently using BTS3900 for our BTS and NodeB. You may access your BTS via LMT or M2000. If you need to commission the site you need script for the RNC and XML file for the NodeB which is created through CME.

Ya thats right, for 2G commisioning must be done on BSC side.
for commissioning 3G you may use this mml help

first you must the SMT (site maintenance terminal last version), after open the smt, on communication port setting check network port and enter the following ip adress 192.168.0.72 then click ok, that's all.
NB: you must set the IP address of the SMT PC to the same network segment as the IP address (192.168.0.72/255.255.255.0) of the BTS.

I want to access the BTS 3900 while at site with an Ethernet straight cable and right software. Please bear in mind that at the moment i want to access this BTS through the GTMU since we are to first roll out the GSM on this BTS 3900.

I have no access to the BSC 6000 or 6900. I can only access the BTS 3900. so please assist me with the software to use on site and coonection procedures/ steps

however, it is like it is used for WCDMA. Will it be of use to me while am on site and am dealing with GSM on BTS 3900? if so please give me a step by step guide of how to connect to the GTMU basically the basics.

Im sorry if you want to access the BTS you need the LMT software, there is also an available web based LMT so you can access the BTS remotely. The CME I posted supports GSM, WCDMA and LTE.

For commissioning on BTS3900 you must use LMT for 3G, BTSM for 2G. The all in one software does not exist. Also you can use autorun software on USB stick for commissioning but it is slower.
