Win 8 shared in telecom forum ? Strange for me because none of the professional tools are tested on Win 8. Also this windows is NOT officially released. I am not taking a chance to install it and test all my tools from scratch !

sadly, i don't have (Actix, Nemo) to test them...however, Atoll works fine on the new platform.
bro, from my humble xperience i do believe that the new OS provides "comfort n peace" for "most" BUT NOT "all" telecom tools.

once again, for a hassle-free compatibility tests, please try to run them "virtually"

labviewlover , everyone has a freedom of speech and whatever i have written here is solely because of my experiences. Windows 7 or 8 might be the future but we are here to learn through finetopix. I don't understand how can you learn when all these softwares (shared here) are NOT made for the new OS. If you have a spare laptop or computer then it is worth trying with new OS but do you like to remove everything from your current OS and then try everything from the beginning ? ANDDD.. if it doesn't work then you install another OS through virtual machine and then on top of it install all the tools/softwares from the beginning ? I don't think it is a wise idea, also I don't have enough time to do these trials when Windows 8 is not officially launched.

Apologies if you don't agree with me but I would love to see ur post (with all those red lips) after trying windows 8 on your personal laptop.

I installed afresh one, I tested actix and mapinfo only when i found one of my favorite software SAMSANG KIES and data card not working I revert back to win7:64, but i have norton ghost image of win8, i will install again in this weekend and let you know TEMS is working or not,,
