Please share with me your knowledge (experience?) on what happens when the number of SDCCH/8 in a TRX is greater than the tuned value of MAXNOSDCCHTRX on a BSC (E*******)?

It cannot be possible, when you try you will have message:

"NOT ACCEPTED
FAULT CODE 205
WANTED NUMBER OF SDCCH/8 NOT POSSIBLE TO CONFIGURE"

Hi!
U can't define SDCCH greater than No.of MaxSDCCH. But when Trx is blocked, may be SDCCH in a cell become greater than Max SDCCH. However, SDCCH that defined in TRx is blocked together Trx blocked.
