Hello there! I am more familiar with Huawei & RTWP is normally used to check the receive power. I am studying NSN & I saw PRX Noise and PRX Total being used in online monitoring. What are those & how does it differ from Huawei's RTWP?

Thanks!

PRX total is RTWP
PRN Noise is Noise floor = Thermal Noise + Noise Figure = Background Noise

Thanks

Ok got it. So what is the normal value for PRX Noise?

Ok got it. So what is the normal value for PRX Noise?

PRX Noise = Thermal noise + NF
Thermal Noise = -108 dbm
NF= i dont know the exactly value for NSN Noise Figure (you can get in NSN doc)

but usually, PRX noise is -105 or -106

Thanks

Yes, -105dBm or -106dBm is about right although its ok up to about -102dBm. Any higher and we start investigating.
