Hi experts,

I am trying to dimension the channel elements for a NSN network but i am still a little bit confused.
I have # simultaneous users/site:
11 HSDPA users
4 HSUPA users
3 R99 UL users
3 R99 DL users
HSDPA average target speed 1.5Mb/s
HSUPA average target speed 0.7Mb/s
R99 average target speed 64kb/s (both DL and UL)

What is the number of CE i should dimension for that in UL and DL with NSN ?
I understood that in order to activate HSDPA, a minimum pool of 80CE is needed. But then should i add this 80 CE pool to the computed CE for R99 DL ??

Thanks for your help.

CEs reserved by HSDPA/HSUPA scheduler are reserved only fr HSPA service and will not be used for R99 service. There is an option to share some CEs between R99 and HSPA services ut it would be useful for FSME boards with large reservation for HSPA. Number of CEs for the scheduler will be determined by the board used and based on active number of users certain number of CEs from that pool will be used. For the R99 users CEs will be used from rest of the CEs in the board.
You have to tell what boards you are using to have exact number of CEs used...
