Can HSUPA call can be established without HSDPA?

Please send signalling of HSUPA call establisment, if anuone have.

Hi there

for the HSUP to br established you must have HSDPA in the downlink.

No, If you just activated HSUPA in cell and doesn;t activated HSDPA in the same cell that means there is no HSDPA although HSUPA work for the same cell.

Hope i m not wrong.

Signalling for HSUPA call is no different from any other call setup, in HSUPA setup, RAB ASSIGNMENT REQUEST from Core have HSUPA request and in RADIO BEARER SETUP message from RNC to UE there is bearer is setup for the HSUPA.
