Yes they are but mostly Motorolla jobs and they pay VERY HIGH but the draw back is that the Visa is only for a month so you will have to go back and forth at month end.

For me I'm already in Iraq I'm Iraqi Citizen no need for Visa ******** doesn't have a clear website or office some 1 can contact or how to Apply , About Asia they pay the lowest salaries ever in telecommunication Iv worked with them before
theres now a huge telecommunication market in Iraq many companies (NSN ,Huawei Sony E******* , Alcatel ) But non until now has a perminant office or website in Iraq the only way if you know some 1 already works there

As I heard now E******* will expand their work related to korek and in the near future they will need experiance people to join them, as you said there is no office for those vendors due to security issue, but you need to find some relation ship to submite for new carrer, also NSN are expanding in north Erbil, Suly and Duhok related to Zain project you can apply for their based on your carrier.

Please note always the operators(Zain, Asia and korek) are paying less than the vendors (NSN,E*******,Huwawi).

Finally ******** employee will be transfered to NSN since the last bought the first.

I believe Korek is now looking for RF engineers. A friend of mine was there couple of months ago but doesn't want to go back due to some juicy offers elsewhere.

I believe so since my friend who was there was assigned in the planning department.

I really haven't know much about transmission and RAN requirements in Iraq probably I normally look for RF opportunities all the time. I guess so there are possible requirements for transmission, implementation and O&M 'cause without them, the network cannot operate properly. :D

KBR hires a lot of people over there and it should not be hard to locate their website online. Do you have a security clearance or any special skills? I know of a couple of websites for people with security clearances.

i was working in IRAQ for 4 years (2003 till 2007) in radio fields, would you believe me if i said most of small tasks time scheduler takes 3 to 5 times more that other countries, for example if you want to install UPS for BTS sometime it takes 2 weeks to reach the site ???? , No power in the area, shelter roads closed, missing Door Key, road traffic ... etc the Iraqi logistic staff are very exhausting in most of the companies and specially the governmental firms, my advise, it's not good place to work.
Beside I've been kidnapped and face the death 3 times, unless if you are Iraqi nationality :-)
