Hi all,

Does any one of you have Alex library and software baseline for mini-Link M11A(MINI-LINK TN 4.4FP) or M11B(MINI-LINK TN 4.5), please share them with us because i think the library has more details about the Mini-Link LH.

Thanks

I think you are a bit ahead in time.
I have not heard of any TN4.4FP, TN4.5 nor MINI-LINK LH being released yet.
Possibly you will be able to find documentation and such, but no HW or software belonging to any of the mentioned releases.

Only available now in R4-track are TN4.4.
It is also likely to come a MINI-LINK Craft aligned with the TN4.4FP.
The one used for TN4.4 are 2.10.

Dear Wizeguy,

In the E******* microwave release overview, it is clearly indicated that MINI-LINK TN4.4FP (M11A) was released in the first quater of this year(between 2010 and early 2011).
M11A also marks the first release of MINI-LINK LH. It is also indicated In the E******* microwave release overview that in the middle of 2011 M11B will be released.

Please be informed that there is Mini-Link craft 2.11 that works for TN4.4 too.

I believe some Alex libraries of the new MINI-LINK releases are out there some how.

Thanks

Hello guys,

unfortunatelly I don't have doc's you requested.
ML TN 4.4FP should be already released, for 4.5 I'm not sure.

Regarding Ceragon, I have only doc's from 2009 :( which are old.

However if I will have something newer, for sure will be shared.

Yes, I know ML-Craft 2.11 works for TN4.4 too, the 2.10 was the one released with TN4.4.
2.11 is backwards compatible wit TN, but released for CN support.

You are right about the planned releases, but fact remains. You will not find any TN4.4FP nor LH SW or HW yet since the have not been released.

Hi,
I do not have any videos available.
I will try to make this as a very short an simple guide.
Let me know if it is too simple:

Basic Layer 1 setup in TN4.4FP.
All other settings are considered to be done already.
(DCN, IP-addresses, RL config etc)

This guide is without using wizards.
Remeber to click save after each operation.

1. Expand the Node and then the Ethernet level of the Management tree in MINI-LINK Craft,
by clicking on the "+" signe beside node and then Ethernet.
2. Expand LAN insterfaces and right click on the LAN interface of your choice and select "configure" from the menu.
3. Inteface usage -> connect to layer 1, check that admin status is set to up.
4. Expand your NPU tree and right click on one RL-IME -> select configure
(Alternative for PDH-IME, do the same for PDH-IME under ETU3B/2B)
5. Configure your IME group, RL: add Radio links to be used and PDH: E1:s to be used.
6. Expand the WAN interfaces and right click on the WAN to be used -> select configure general.
Interface usage -> Layer 1. check that admin status is set to up.
7. Click in "Layer 1 connection" under Ethernet in Management tree and then on "add button" at the rightmost corner.
Now select the LAN and WAN interfaces to connect.
8. Done, connection should be up.
Remaining now is to configure QoS, etc.

Good luck

Are we talking MINI-LINK LH or a MINI-LINK TN system here?
For TN I would guess that you will have the two repeater hops configured inside the same TN AMM.
You will the just have to do VLAN config where WAN ports are interconnected with the same VLAN id for L2.
L1 you just interconnect WAN:s via L1 connection instead.

MINI-LINK LH repeater sites will most likely be configured with two AMM:s that need to be interconnected vis Ethernet cable.

For the remaining L1 or L2 config, just view my previous replies in this thread.

There are very large number of combinations of settings and configurations possible here and you don't give much to go on.
But I will try to help you.
Do you have this problem for all your LAN interfaces, I would guess that 1/11/6 is an electrical interface and you have optical SFP:s in 1/11/4 and 1/11/5, right?

What version of TN are you running?

To help you, I need you to answer my q:s.
Was I correct in assuming that you use both electrical and optical LAN interfaces?
Have you changed any thing from default on the interfaces?
I mean they should be auto-negotiation mode etc. as default.
What settings on the instrument and router?
Have you tried fixed mode also on both ends, you should never have auto in on end and fixed in the other on a Ethernet cable link.

On the start,i did not touch anything on the default values, but later changed some values to experiment. I have a conversation with the guy incharge of the router. And this is what i was told about, that what ever settings i input will always be transparent on the router.Seems to act like a mirror, which i doubt so,because if that is the case then, we should not be expriencing problems like this. Maybe this guy is just too lazy to act accordingly.
For the settings, what ever settings on one end is just the same on the other end.
No alrms are generated on both Lan and Wan interface. All seems to be fine.iT is just that, traffic cant pass though.
Got to go,hopefully all will be fixed:):):)...
