You can also use Mcom or just query the bsic and frequency in mapinfo to identify the overshooting cell

I think Mcom is used with drive test logs.....but the thing asked is for if we have TA stats (For example if we have 1000 MRs from TA at 10 it should form some sort of triangle on extend the cells thematic to a distance of 5 Km) for a cell how can we plot the thing on mapinfo to highlight overshooting cells........

I have seen it before but I don't have it. It is a simple MapBasic app. I saw it used in orange in the UK.

If you want to only identify the cell it is like ihave said before
but if you have 1000 MRs and you want to plot the overshooting cells with your criteria, you can use the vonoroi modifiyed tool to identify it or simply plot them with the thematic map tool of mapinfo with your criteria 5 KM etc...

He probably means Voroni. Its a Mapinfo tool like MCOM. Unfortunately, I do not have either of them.

Dears,

The best way is to use thematic map and show the highest TA with specific color, i think it's very and no need to use certain tool :)

Cheers,

Cheers,

The thematic map is easy to do but he is looking for a more visual format where concentric curves are drawn at the distance on the map where the traffic is coming from.

I dont get it how can we use thematic to show TA values on map if we use mapinfo grid as thematic it would only show intensity but how to show distance using thematic.........showing an example I used GRID to use external interfernce intensity on numerous cells but how does it work in case for TA......

You can use "Concentric Ring Buffer" tool in Mapinfo.

I have created and attached a video showing how to create concentric ring buffers. You can then use boundary select or thematic mapping play with it more to achieve what you want to do.
