Dear Experts,
Power Control Formula à P = min (P-MAX, GAMMA0 - GAMMA - ALPHA(C+48))
Ø If network parameters are Alpha = 1 & Initial Power Level = 14. Receive signal strength reported by MS is C = -60dBm. Transmit power for class 2 MS would be equal to (tell if below calculation are accurate):
§ P = Min (39-14-1*(-60+48), 39dBm) = 37dBm
Kindly tell how open loop power control (ALPHA = 1) is better then combined loop power control (1>ALPHA>0)?.....working on huawei as i m confused about GPRS-EDGE power control correct me if i m wrong thr is no power control window in GPRS-EDGE power control which parameter donates the thrshold for level for applying power control equation?
