I have one question related to Hauwei 2G to 3G reselection.

I wanna know if it is needed to declare 3G neighbors to 2G cell to make reselection possible from 2G to 3G in Hauwei data base ? or no need ?

Yes you need to declare 3G neighbors to 2G cell.

You need also to activate Intersystem Handover and Reselection Between 2G and 3G.

for reselection just you need to add the 3g cell in 2g ba list .
if you wanna handover form 2g to 3g, you need to modify the parameter
"RAT_OUTGONG_HO" is enabled.

hi all

for 2G-3G reselection you have to check the following:
*3G cell is defined as neighbour in 2G side
*3G cell parameters defined in 2G side should be correct (LAC,PSC,RNC)
*may be the threshold or parameters are set wrong check (FDDQmin(dB),FDDQoffset,2G-3G inter-rat enabled switch(sholud be on),Q_search_I(should be always search for 3G ngbr) )
also check if the 3G cell is barred or not
