Dears,
I face this message during installation of SQL in windows 7
I just want o setup actix and I couldn't as actix always asking for SQL express 2005 SP2 before installations

Kindly help

might be isn't compatible with your windows then need earlier version of ACTIX

Make sure installation has sql express installer included (check sub-folders). Also try running setup "As Administrator", maybe that could help you.

This error happen when the sqlserver or sqlserver related components are already installed on your computer.
follow these steps (assume that the installation of actix gets higher priority)
1. uninstaller SQL related components
2. delete SQL services on registry (HKLM)
3. restart and reinstall actix

(it may require you do something more on XML parser Sp2)

see the enclosed pic for more

for XML, when asked, just remove them and reinstall by the integrated one in the actix installer.

I've removed previous installtions of SQl and insalled new one successfully
