View Full Version : Multi-RAB Problem

Hi experts,
I faced a problem while i'm using a smartphone.
I made a voice call and i tried to made data connection during Voice call and th smartphoen says "a Voice Call is still continue. You can't browse until the voice call is ended".
Is there any limitation or problem on Multi-RAB functionality on 3G (making data during voice call).

P.S. : Vendor is Huawei

firstly check this out :

1. MULTIRAB already activate on your RNC system? see some feature/licence (our NSN network already ON in RU20)

2. UE support type (some smartphone looks like not supported MULTIRAB), what type of your UE (type 2 and 3 not supported)

3. SGSN feature, our NSN SGSN already upgrade that support this function

Hi adewijaya,
Multirab is already activated on our RNCs because non-smart phones(Sony-E******* W995i) can make multirab. We tried multirab with blackberry bold 9000 and iPhone 4 and they couldn't make multirab.
I didn't check the SGSN side.

No any problem for NSN in RU20 when Iphone4 used. If still have proiblem that shodu be UE side, not the equitment, please change other UE and try again.

Hello boss. Did u try with the same usim card. May the defenetion of the usim at the hlr side dosenot support the multirab

Dear all,
At first thanks for your replies.
Problem is solved but i dont know how :) i think our SGSN experts changed something but they didn't reply anything about this issue.

HEHEHE, you must asking with your PS Engineer to describe this issue n share together in here
