Do you have an active antivirus when you extract that file? If yes, than the problem comes from the AV. It because the patch is already known as a trojan.
So you have disable the protection for a while and make an exception for the folder and the patch.

This problem happen to me many times.

Hi all

I already updated successful from PL5 original to PL5 build date April 20, 2011.

This is script.

1. Install and initialize original version.
pathloss 5 complete.rar - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download (http://www.4shared.com/file/QHVwFBUW/pathloss_5_complete.html)
2. Uninitialize original version.
3. Re-Initialize with new seial number and activation code.
Serial number: BL50-3G3YE5H-345GHY6-5634
Activatation Code: ERBVV-34721-605F
4. Copy p5g_supl.bin in C:\Program Files\Pathloss 5\geo_data to another to use later.
5. Uninstall original PL50
6. Install PL50 version April 20, 2011.
7. Copy above p5g_supl.bin and overwrite to C:\Program Files\Pathloss 5\geo_data.
8. Copy file mitab.dll from mitab.dll (http://www.mediafire.com/?6eq7os1zv71z4cp) and overwrite to C:\Program Files\Pathloss 5.

The newer update is build date April 20, 2011 that I have already update successful. and the lastest update until now is May 10, 2011 build. Hi,

when you run PL5 which you copied from zeuscane's link, PL50 will check what the drive is located. If it is located on difference from original installation driver it will export that error message.

I think Zeuscane had installed it on C:\Program Files\Pathloss 5

for my side, I am using the standard path "C:\Program Files\Pathloss 5":confused:

so I don't know about Mr Zeuscane installation folder;

in other hande As far as I knwo, PL4 license is related to the driver SN & partition type ( FAT, NTFS,...), so I don't know for pathloss 5 program!!

Hi Thang,

whe I folow yor instrucions I end up with version that changes its' program options from none checked to PLT. Nevertheless, no matter on license options, it allows me to open examples and doesn't let me running Pl50L (it repeats that I need to run Pl50.exe in oder to activte the license). I have used your mitab file, p5g_supl.bin but i is not working. If I deinstall and install again March 2009 version, it works fine.
Could yougive m any advice?
