HR TS or PDCH to VOICE TCH

hey if a USER is accessing PPDCH(switchable) and a Voice call comes (all FR-TCH busy at that time). what will be effect whether already occupied voice frtch conveterd to HR or PDCH TS will be converted to VOice.

Hi

If your having defined PDCH as dedicated then will remain as data intact.

but your CDEF ie which is extandedable will convert to voice .
also one more thing depending upon your FR to HR conversion threhold.

if i'm not wrong is same for priority on PDTCH Timeslot or CDED, dedicated time slot to packet data. Dedicated PDTCH can't convert to HR/FR Traffic Channels but Switchable Timeslot still prioritized by voice traffic, hope it is could make you clear
