Minimum 5 years of experience in GSM/GPRS/EDGE Radio Network Design and Optimization. Minimum 3 years of experience in WCDMA/UMTS Radio Network Optimisation.

Good knowledge performing RF site survey, Coding plan, parametres. Knowledge of RF planning tools. Cell site planning and site selection skills. Knowledge in Design & Optimization parameters for WCDMA.

Responsibilities

* 3G Radio Planning & Optimisation of existing 3G network to reach/maintain target KPIs
* Analysis of KPIs, investigation and improvement of network quality problems
* Analysis of drive test measurement data and implementation of corrective actions
* Implementation of new RAN features, and tuning of RAN database parameters
* Analysis of neighbour relations and implementation of corrections
* Radio propagation planning, optimisation of coverage footprint and services
* Frequency planning / scrambling code planning with planning tools
* Planning and optimisation of data services (3G)
* Customer problem investigation

DELIVERABLES: Site Survey and Audit Report, Input to the Radio Frequency Paremeters report. Codign Plan Report. Changes report. Following Report, Coverage Plots.
