Hello!Who can explain more in details power distribution in case of multiuser transmission in DL in WCDMA system.As it's known WCDMA capacity is limited by different factors and one of them it's DL power:more users ->more DL channels-> more DL power.Lets imagine that we have lots of users near nodeB,why do we have power limitation in this case?And how is it possible to regulate individual power per user in DL in case of mixture of signals,after summation?Thanks!

In WCDMA the power is a important ressource.
DL Power is 43 dBm than is it share between all the users and divided between R99 and HSPDA and Voice.
There's a parameter that can control that.
In some case of congestion we can increase this power to 46dBm.

UL power is limted by the number of users and by the type of service used by those users.

The power is control by In loop power control algorithm.

It is clear,but how the transmitter of the nodeB can serve number of users and share power between them in individual manner for close users less power for distant more power.
I order to achieve desired signal to noise it should increase the carrier power,but lets speak about multiuser case.
