try re-install MCOM 7.3 +MS SQL server ...try run the mcom, if you still got the RNS error, extract and put the content of 143.rar file attached to C:\Program Files\E******* AB\RNS Tools\143\. Do not replace exsiting files, just put missing files.

P/S:
i got the same issue as yours before (win 7 x86) but manage to solve it.

Actually i have performed all of the activities and i am in doubt that is MCOM 7.3 compatible with Win 7 or not!

Mcom 7.3 is compatible with with windows 7...if you have actix then that would cause conflict especially with the spotlight....If you don't have actix installed try to delete the registry of mcom in your laptop...

This means that you have removed the installation totally after 1st installation. What you have to do is reinstall it and copy the contains of 143.rar (attached in this thread. search for it guys) to C:\Program Files\E******* AB\MCOM7.3\143\

These are the steps to install MCOM7.3
1.) Install SQL server 2005 SP3 in your win 7 computer. Don't do any modifications. Just follow the installation.
Download it from: here (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=ae7387c3-348c-4faa-8ae5-949fdfbe59c4)

2.) Install the MCOM7 (and if you are not doing the first installation, copy the contains of 143.rar to C:\Program Files\E******* AB\MCOM7.3\143\ which has been attached in this thread).

3.) Open MCOM7, use the M3D1C1N3 to get the Lic, and close it.

4.) Follow the instrucion on page 5 of MCOM users guide in C:\E******* AB\MCOM7.3. There are several modifications that should be done with the SQL server surface area configuration.

5.) Go to: C:\E******* AB\MCOM7.3\Description_files\ and run RunSQLScripts.bat

DONE. It will work with WIN 7:D. If you find this useful, please dont hesitate to add reputation by clicking on the scale symbol button on the upper right corner.
