Hello Pros, just a quick one,

I understand that the transmit power(Txlevel) for the mobile is increased especially when it is being interfered but looking at a drive test view, how can i tell when the transmit power is high or low because the values usually range from 1 - 13.

Also, i would like to know the equivalent of theese values in terms of power(I presume there's a table for this).

Please knowledgeable guys should kindly help.

highest MS power level is zero, TX level increase means power reductions.

For details please see the MS power control table attached.

@ Srilasitha

This table doesnt seem to be clear enough...could you or anyone help me with a table showing what each Tx_level measurement on TEMS represent in actual dBm.

Also i know a tx_level of 0 could lead to interference but what are the other effects of this and causes as well?

Many thanks to all that choose to contribute and share their knowledge

Very good apps. Is it an in-house software?

Yes :p I programmed it in 1 hour of time. This happens when you are waiting for a job offer reply :( time goes by so slowly ... :L by the way ... anyone looking for RF Engineer with E******* GSM/WCDMA knowledge and C/C# SQL programming skills ??? ... agrrhhh ... who cares...

Anyway, I also programmed the whole new MCOM. This MRRView is accualy a module inside this "new MCOM". Everything is in SQL database; MRR measurements, NCS, FAS/ICDM, network configurations (KGET, bulk_cm, CNA), Site configurations, KPI stats import etc... plus many more implemented algorithms for troubleshooting and analysis (dreamland for every RNO engineer :) )
Currenty working with "real-time" option through Moshell. Idea is to collect everything through it into this application (site configurations, alarms ...)

Yes... you can do so many nasty things with this baby... :p

Good job mate. Excellent.

If you can not or you do not want to share it here let's forget it and leave this correspondence . All we are engineer and i think most of us are familiar with programming specially for RND/RNO purpose. For Aexio since it is a commercial version of a tool and there is a support from company of course it is valuable than your tools :)

When I finish working with all updates I will upload MRRView here.

Thank you for your comments. ;)
