Hi All,
I wanted to the Maximum Number of Channelization Codes that can be allocated to an UE at a time.

Regards,

Channelization code (CC) & CE is different concept. CC is for service, user orthogonality purpose to identify user & service (Basic of spread spectrum & WCDMA) while CE is traffic load. For example

For AMR voice needs two CC s (CC1 + CC2) in UL but CE demands 1
Video call needs two CCs (CC1+CC2) in UL but CE demands 4

Are you sure about 2 CC in UL?One is for voice with SF=128 and what is about the second?

I am sure of it.
In GSM user uses TDMA multi-frame concept to communicate Control Channel & Data Channel.
But Incase of WCDMA for each channel (UL) separate Code needs.
In UL AMR 12.2kbps CC1=Control Channel,CC2= Traffic Channel

For cross Ref, attach snap-shot from E******* docs

What does control channel transmit L1 or L3?

One Control Channel in UL is Dedicated Control Channel (DCCH).
DCCH is provided in parallel with DTCH for point to point signalling during active connection.

When we speak about CC codes we mention physical layer and physical channels (DPDCH and DPCCH).As it's known in UL we have control on Q branch and data part on I branch of the IQ modulator. And I'm thinking:is it possible to reuse CC code on two different branches?
