Is it possible to load SRTM files in Aircom?. if possible please help.

we can convert .hgt to .grd using vertical mapper.

The AIRCOM cannot load Map like STRM
Can Load with index file only

it seems it can only display raster height maps i.e contour maps and not vector height maps , if otherwise i would like to know from others..

You cannot.
To use Aircom tools, you need to convert SRTM to DTM format, use mapping tool such as FME Desktop.
Find here for the installer of FME 2012.

I've done that once using Mapinfo Vertical Mapper.The input file format should be: ".dem",".txt" (ASCII format) ,".sdts" or ".mig"
