It's a tool for finding faulty antennas like antenna diagram mismatch is the most general fault. It's a useful tool. I'll look for my documents if i can find something i'll put here.

I have worked with this tool practically .It is working based on one RBS counter which is not activated by default the counter name is "pmBranchDeltaSir" easily you can activate it in NodeB level(Emergency License mode can activate it).

But as my experience it is not helpful tool. for example it can not recognize complete swap.In some case will show partial swap.

hi
i too have worked with this tool. but for me it worked well. actually what it does is took measurements from ul & dl & then suspect from their phase & levels that whether they are performing well or not. in my experience when i checked antennas where it suspected faults. i found partial swapin feedres there.

Yes it is not an absolute tool, but it does give us an indication the a problem does exist and what the problem may be.

There is a bug where missing feeders are identified as swapped feeder but you need to look at the SIR difference and Std Deviation as well.

Average SIR difference = 29.5 or -29.5---- Missing feeder
Std dev > 10 dB------Swapped Feeder

I have attached a presentation on FFA-X, this may help you to identify issues.
