Hello, which parameter controls the HSDPA power assignment per user in E*******?. As i know one cell can have an specific amount of power reserved for HS-PDSCH users and the rest for R99 DCHs. And also is the option to dynamically manage power between R99 DCHs and HS-PDSCHs. Which parameter makes this and how its controlled. thanks!

I am not sure if I completely understand your question. I hope this is useful (Please don’t forget to rep if you find this interesting)

Parameters
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hsPowerMargin
In determining how much power can be allocated to
HS-PDSCH, the total transmit power (including all
common channels, dedicated channels, HS-SCCH,
HS-PDSCH and the Enhanced Uplink downlink
control channels) is limited to the maximum downlink
transmission power for the cell signaled from the RNC,
minus the hsPowerMargin back off.

hsMeasurementPowerOffset
Offset relative to the P-CPICH that the UE must use
when calculating the assumed HS-PDSCH power in the
CQI estimation.

maxPowerOverloadHystTime
The DL transmitted carrier power is considered DL HSDPA-overloaded if the monitored non-HS DL power + HS-required DL power > 100% utilization for a hysteresis time.

Resource Estimation -
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The resource estimation procedure estimates available HS-PDSCH codes and
HS-PDSCH power in the upcoming TTI.
Estimation of the number of HS-PDSCH codes is straightforward, since the
RBS has this information available.
Estimation of the power available for the HS-PDSCHs is done in a few steps.
First, the total power available for all the HSDPA channels and the Enhanced
Uplink downlink channels, PHS, is estimated as
PHS = Pmax [COLOR=black][FONT=Arial]
