hey u have set power control parameters DLMAXDownStep & DLMAXUpStep to 30 recommended value is 4 but if this parameter is set to a relatively great value, the power control may be performed excessively on the downlink, thus leading to poor quality, low level, and ping-pong power control..........dont u think the value is way too high???????????????

no we tested it first on simulation...then again we tested on live tested it gave good result.. also do not think bout the recomended values. they are just the lab testings at the time of testing we called two person from Huawei R&D. we showed them that the recomended values are not good.

i can share result we observed on MA10.

at max keep it 15 dB. 30 dB is very excessive value
if i let the mobile go down in level 30 dB in one shot it will make quality problem

Hey guys just a basic question correct me if I am wrong If MS can change power 2db per 60ms so if reporting period is 1 SACCH multiframe only 16dB of power can be incremented and reduced? is it true??????
