Modify 2G External Cell(MOD CELL2GEXTC) BSC6000

Function

A configuration command that modifies parameters of a 2G external cell. If the frequency is modified, the system automatically modifies the BA table. In this command, the following parameters uniquely identify the BTS:
Cell Index or Cell Name or CGI

Note

The new name and CGI of the cell must be different from the names and CGIs of the configured cells.

HOTHRESInter-layer HO ThresholdMeaning:Inter-layer HO Threshold
Value range:0~63
Explanation:This parameter is one bit of the 16 bits that are used by the BSC to sort the candidate cells for handovers.
The level values 0 through 63 map to -110 dBm to -47 dBm.
Default value:None
SDPUNVALPenalty on Fast Moving HOMeaning:Penalty on Fast Moving HO
Value range:0~63
Explanation:If an MS is moving fast, the BSC performs penalty on the neighbor cells of the cell where the MS is located. This parameter specifies the penalty value. Only when the MS is located at the Umbrella layer and the neighbor cells are located at the Macro, Micro, or Pico layer, penalty is performed.
This parameter is valid within only the Penalty Time on Fast Moving HO.
The level values 0 through 63 map to -110 dBm to -47 dBm.
Default value:None
SDPUNTIMEPenalty Time on Fast Moving HO[s]Meaning:Penalty Time on Fast Moving HO[s]
Value range:0~255
Explanation:This parameter specifies the period in which penalty is performed on the neighbor cells of the cell where a fast-moving MS is located. The neighbor cells must be located at the Macro, Micro, or Pico layer other than the Umbrella layer.
Default value:None
MSRXMINMin DL Level on Candidate CellMeaning:Min DL Level on Candidate Cell
Value range:0~63
Explanation:This parameter specifies the minimum downlink receive level of a neighbor cell.
Expected downlink level of the neighbor cell ]= (Minimum downlink power of the candidate cell for handover + Minimum access level offset)
The M criterion is met if the Expected uplink level of the neighbor cell ]= (Minimum uplink power of the candidate cell for handover + Minimum access level offset); otherwise, the M criterion is not met.
The level values 0 through 63 map to -110 dBm to -47 dBm.
Default value:None

HOOFFSETQuick Handover Offset[db]Meaning:Quick Handover Offset[db]
Value range:0~127
Explanation:During a measurement period, a quick handover occurs only if the difference of path loss between a chain neighbor cell and the serving cell is greater than or equal to the value of this parameter.
The level values 0 to 127 map with -64 dB to 63 dB.
Default value:None
LOADHOENLoad Handover SupportMeaning:Load Handover Support
