a UE how to scan the object before measurement report?

does UE scan the PSC according to measurement control's hint or scan all 512 psc in intra frequency,inter frequency,inter system?

在3种情况下(intra frequency,inter frequency,inter system),UE是按照measurement control的提示扫邻区扰码还是先全扫512个扰码，再只上报measurement control中存在的扰码?

Iam assuming you are talking abt MS in TCH.....in that case Mear_ctrl_msg are send to ms telling the event criteria and also intra/inter neighbour(psc) to look for.

MS then uses internal algorithm to keep a check on check on these listed neighbour,with giving max tuning time to active set PSC.This is more vendore specific....

but in case of intra there is also a triggering condtition which specify which PSC cells either in active only or monitored or monitered & detected cells are eligiable for triggiering event like e1a.

for every event there will be a detection threshold,hyst,time to avoid multiple or ping-pong reporting.

there is also filter coff for inter/intra/rat measurment.

lastly there is a compressed mode for inter freq or rat measurment.
