Can anyone share information about "Gemini".

What is it? how it is used? if some documentation etc possible share that.

Hi! As far as I know Gemini is a project of NSN, the possibility of working with a BS exSiemens BSC Nokia, starting with the soft release of S14.

Yes, mishka75 is absolutely right.
Gemini is NSN project to get working Nokia BSCs with exSiemens BTSs due to fact that after they merged they evaluated that Nokia had better base equipment so they soon will stop supporting exSiemens equipment (with some exceptions). But many operators are still using it and to do complete 2G BTS swap for mature network is very expensive, so they realized that operators can do swap to let's say Huawei for more or less the same amount of money and NSN could actually lose clients, not gain after merge. So Gemini went on to keep exSiemens BTSs running for mature networks and do only central element swaps.
At least this is what I have heard :)
