HSDPA performance degradation (pmNoFailedAfterAdm)

Hi All,
I have a cell whose performance just suddenly degraded and the counter contributing to the degradation is

pmNoFailedAfterAdm. It is Erisson P6 WCDMA network. Any ideas on what could be the cause of this increase in
the number of Radio Resource Control (RRC) or Radio Access
Bearer (RAB) establishment requests failed after being admitted by admission Control (pmNoFailedAfterAdm)?

Do you have Eul tti2 active?

No. It is not active because we are still using P6 while I guess this feature is part of P7

Are you seeing an increase in pmNoFailedAfterAdm on all cells? Due you have a lot of HS/Eul rab failures on the cell in question?

A couple of questions to help me understand the problem better as I am unable I access any downloads yet...

1, What service has degraded? - CS, PS, HS or Eul
2, How many cells have been affected? - all cells of the site or just one cell?
3, Do you have the RBS hardware monitor feature active? - are you seeing failures for pmNoFailedRabEstAttemptLackUlHwBest, pmNoFailedRabEstAttemptLackDlHwBest,pmNoRrcReqDeniedAdmUlHw or pmNoRrcReqDeniedAdmDlHw. If you are then RBS hardware monitor is active.
4, How is the transmission configured i.e. number of E1 links + number of cells/site?

Is there any aal2 congestion? Is your virtual channels for classes BCD defined correctly?

check CE if u are putting the threshold of Addmission 100%

& check bottleneak in IUB & if it not check the upper layer

ok assuming rbs hardware monitor & Eul tti 2 are not active here are some things to check:

1, Configuration is correct i.e.

maxNumEulUsers (MO=RbsLocalCell)=> eulServingCellUsersAdm (MO=UtranCell)
maxNumHsdpaUsers (MO=RbsLocalCell)=> hsdpaUsersAdm (MO=UtranCell)
Licence limit (MO=NodeBFunction) => maxNumHsdpaUsers/maxNumEulUsers
2, Baseband CE utilisation (pmCapacityAllocRejUlCe - if RBS hardware monitor is turned off)

3, Transmission utilisation (pmNoRabEstBlockTnPsIntHsBest)

Most probably you have some problem on your Iub link. This counter will peg if shortage on Iub observed from system.

I am not sure that the statistics is correct or not, pmNoCellDchDisconnectAbnorm, pmNoRabEstablishSuccess and pmNoRabEstablishAttempt shall be integer value but they contained fractional numbers.
