Mentum CellPlanner is an advanced tool for design, rollout, and optimization of mobile radio networks. Mentum CellPlanner provides superior planning and optimization capabilities to save time and money during network deployment of 2G, 2.5G, 2.75, 3G, WiMAX, and LTE networks.
Mentum CellPlanner is built on the latest Java platform and is designed for class-leading accuracy and speed in planning and optimization tasks. It is a graphical and easy-to-use PC-based tool.
Mentum CellPlanner assists the user in performing complex tasks, including network dimensioning, traffic planning, site configuration, frequency, code planning,and automatic cell planning (ACP). Features such as accurate network modeling and advanced algorithms make Mentum CellPlanner key to competing successfully in the mobile communications marketplace.
The LTE module in Mentum CellPlanner performs PCI planning, neighbor analysis including IRAT and black list, fixed subscribers deployment, network design, coverage and capacity planning, advanced traffic modeling, network quality evaluation, frequency management, and Monte Carlo Analysis providing a wide range of plots (snapshots, delta plots, histograms) and reports.
Mentum CellPlanner also provides full support for voice and data services in WCDMA, GSM, and WiMAX. It also supports EDGE Evolution and GPRS implemented in GSM systems, HSPA including the latest release of both HSDPA and HSUPA implemented in WCDMA systems, and the PUSC (partial usage of subcarriers) feature in WiMAX.
