Hi,

looking into some TEMS traces I noticed that the the UE doesn't come out of compressed mode when relocating to another 3G cell during an inter-frequency Handover.

Have you seen similar behaviour? How can I solve this?

What would it have to do with 2F. 3GPP standard says a phone should come out of compressed mode when it starts a relocation process to another cell i.e. after receiving a 2b event, so this has nothing to do with compressed mode parameters

I have seen it on two Nokia phones, one R99 and one R5.

Vendor? SW release?
It might be usefull to check with other vendor. Have you tried on other networks in your country?
