Hi all,
When activating inter-frequency and inter-RAT measurements for a WCDMA UE I noticed that some vendors configure all measurements during radio bearer setup and then activate compressed mode when a 2d event is received. Other vendors setup the inter-freq or inter-RAT measurements only after the 2d event is received and just before activating their corresponding compressed mode sequence.
Are you aware of any reasons why different operators do this in different ways?
