3G call set up problem

HI Friends,



We faced problem in some of our new integrated node B(E*******) the problem is we can not make call set up or receive any call when we are localized on 3G cell selection and cell re selection will perform normally. During drive test when we are making call from TEMS phone A to TEMS phone B will receive announce "User is unavailable " where we should investigate the problem. I have checked Cell is not barred also.

Check if UE is active Home location registrar. Trace if RB and RAB are successfully completed

Or possible check if its created in the MSC..

1. Check MSC-VLR database to see whether new NodeB cells are correctly defined with right RNC address, it seems that the MSC-VLR didn't have right information to forward the paging message
2. check whether the cells was "locked"

How we can understand from TEMS log file the problem is coming from core network?

I think you cannot understand from TEMS. Maybe you can understand sentinel or TEMS Visualization tool.
