Scanner for TI9

hi,

does anyone know how to perform scanning while mobile? i'm using TI9 and when i connect PCTEL scanner (w/ its own GPS) i can't see my current location on my map. I try to connect my TI phone (in idle mode) but when i do so, the scanner stops working.
anyone who has done the set-up?

If you are using two devices, you should use a separate USB GPS receiver. Try using PCTEL without its GPS receiver.

Can you tell us if you are using a certaind command sequence or you are just recording your actions?

i was not using the GPS of the scanner. it's another GPS and in another USB port. No command sequence either. I just want to record the scanning but at the same time display my location in the map.

Please check if your GPS is installed corectly and if TEMS Investigation is supporting your GPS receiver. You have a NMEA GPS? Can you load a map with your area? Sometimes TI throws you in space and you have to zoom in a lot.

GPS is working fine if it is paired with the phone but doesn't work with the scanner though..
