2General Recommendation
It is essential for the reader to be aware that use of the trace measures described in this document may lead to system overload resulting in a board or node restart. The trace log can also overflow, resulting in a loss of trace information. Therefore, great care needs to be taken in the selection of traces to be used.
Generally speaking, only the bare minimum of traces shoud be activated
in order to troubleshoot a fault.
It is strongly recommended to only use "Selective Cell tracing" (see chapter 9) or "Selective UE tracing" (see chapter 10) functionality for troubleshooting a fault, since it will minimize the possibility to overload the RNC due to tracing.
