MORAN allows the sharing of the RAN (RNC, nodeB, antenna) while keeping separate core networks.

In the UK 3UK and T-Mobile have such an agreement.

It is also very popular in Scandinavian countries but I dont have exact details as to which operators share with which..

Thank you Wolverine,

Do you have info what kind of KPI's are they checking?
Is it on hourly or daily or weekly or monthly bases?
Who is responsible for hardware - operators or 3th party?

Does somebody have any document about MORAN?

In Sweden the 3G is shared out side the three major cities: Stockholm, Malmo and Gothenburg. Telia + Tele2 and Telenor + 3. Currently Tele2 + Telenor are implementing network sharing on 2G and LTE.

In all cases they've built a 3rd party company which maintains and operates these joint networks and reports to the original operators. KPI reports are defined by the operators, they vary.

That would be all for now,

I imagine the KPI processes are the same as with any company.

The HW side is managed by a third party MBNL Mobile Broadband Network Ltd (http://www.mbnl.co.uk/)
