Hi

I ve started using TEMS 12 this week and I found some non working features.

In map window in cell layer if you want to see cell line and cell color on map during DT it is not working as you can see in attached picture.

I used i7 (HP Pavilion dv7 , 1,6 GHz, 3G RAM) and as you can see it is not easy for it to play logs, the same situation is during the DT.

In TEMS 12 there are no Events: Session start, Session Error, RAS Dail and RAS Error, instead od them you should use FTP Download or Upload Start, FTP Download or Upload Error, and Network connect and Network connect error.

A good thing is skript (new sequence), there is no more need to make connections in windows for FTP , you can make connection directly in skript and it stays in the skript. There are no more problems with COM ports and everything is keeping somewhere in memory.

Please if you have any questions, comments or answers on problems above .... I am still testing

You should activate "spider cursor" to see a line between your point and the cells.

I know that, I did that but it is not working. Do you have TEMS 12?
Even in the newest version TEMS 12.0.2 it is working only for WCDMA it is not working with GSM. I am still waiting answer from Ascom.

You have loaded a cell file? Have you completed the standard cell file according to TI12 Technical Reference?

Show more info about your cell file. I suggest to create a blank workspace, add one map and your cell file.

Cell file that I ve used is working with TEMS 11 for GSM and for WCDMA. I will try what you suggest , thanks.

As I said I am still waiting reply from Ascom for this issue, they gave me a feedback about others but they still dont have answer for cell line and color.

I have found that in ver 12.0.1 cell line and cell color was shown for WCDMA cell file if you choose GSM for system in cell layer???? In 12.0.2 it is ok for WCDMA but still it is not working with GSM cell file.

TI is not allowing that. You must use a specific AT command depending on your device.

Which device you used ?

You can lock Sony E******* W995 on R99, disable only HSUPA, change the HSPA category (disable 7.2 for example).
I have to check for Nokia C5.

For datacards however, you must use AT commands as knack suggested.

Please do not consider that if you can lock W995, you can do the same for modems (like Huawei). You should rely on AT commands since they work on any device with some small changes.
