Study of Complex handoff in context of Simple and Dual Homing of RNC’s on a Random Mobility pdf (http://m2vtelecom.blogspot.com/2010/12/study-of-complex-handoff-in-context-of.html)
This paper deals with the analysis of the rates of complex handoff (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handover) in context of the single homing and dual homing of the RNC’s. With random Single Homed model and the corresponding Dual Home model generated using two meta-heuristic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metaheuristic) techniques, namely Simulated Annealing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simulated_annealing) (SA), Tabu search (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabu_search) (TS)and then the mobile node was allowed to make random movements throughout the topology and thus register its handoffs which has been analysed to get to know the performance of the system during normal times when the users do-don’t show up particular mobility patters.
