When i'm installing actix, SQL Server Express failed to install. then pop up error message"please install the Actix instance of SQL Server Express before running this install". please help me.

My experience is to remove Actix first and delete the installed folder (default C:\Program Files\Actix with OS XP). Then install the new package.

I had a similar issue. You need to ensure that an instance of SQL server/express is running before your start the setup process for Actix. Either download SQL independently if not already included in your Actix installer package. This works for me. Hope it helps your too.

Hi All
Please try to fix regstry error (Ex ::: ccleaner)& uninstall any sql setup on your machine >>> restart the machine & reinstall it again.
since i faced same problem with SQL ( win7 & 64bit)

Try uninstalling msxml6.exe from Add/Remove Programs and reinstall MS SQL.

i download SQL independently. then install it manually. now it works. thx man.

Dear All,

Recommend all actixer, use Window install clean up to remove SQL and Actix.

Install SQL again ( use SQL in actix install foder or SQL express )

Install Actix normal, remember to turn of antivirus program

If you uninstall any program you should use Revo Uninstaller to clean all the files including the registry file. :-)

Almost we know some pro same Revo, but for software from Microsoft, Clean Up is best and safe.

After that, you can you Revo to clean some empty folder.
