You can try to re-run the program until can connect to the server.

I tried changing the port and browser (google chrome) but nothing worked. I even installed older version (NED 5.4), it started okay but when I try to load any library, it gives error. Anyone knows how to solve this ?

Uninstall ALL NED installations.
Load NED6.0 Setup.
Start the NED6.0 server.
User Internet Explorer 6 and above as Browser when you are trying to load libraries as in Chrome You can just see the browse button which wont work.
The NED6.0 works normally with chrome but managing libraries does not work with Chrome browser

Same problem happened to me once. Basically, this concerns your browser (IE).
Try putting it on the default settings. If same problem exists, reinstall both NED and IE, as this works for me.

hi ,
u can go to the path c/programfile/nsc/ned6.0/util
then open the file ned52 and replace the ip address to localhost.

means just write localhost in place of ip address.

then save the file and restart ur system.

Agian Check . I think it will work.

experienced similar problems and changing http://localhost:43231/NED/ to http://127.0.0.1:43231/NED/ (http://localhost:43231/NED/) did the trick for me. After that just added libraries via admin suite and here we go :-)

IF you continues with the problem, try this maybe can help you :

NED permission settings in Windows 7
After you have installed NED in Windows 7 you may get error with “Access denied” information. When the NED application is launched, it is opened with user privilege (currently logged in user) causing the permission issue. This is default Windows 7 product behavior and it can be avoided, if you open NED with admin privilege.
To open the application with admin privilege, follow the steps below. You need to do this as a one-time procedure after installing NED in Windows 7.
1. Go to the folder where NED has been installed, for example, C:\Program Files (x86)\NSN\NED 6.0\util
2. Right click NED Tray and go to Properties > Compatibility tab
3. Select Run this program as an Administrator
4. Click Apply > OK
