Hi,

You can "cut" parts of TEMS log files.

This is done with Replaying.

If you want to cut from the beginning of the file just replay the file to the new Start point then stop the replay. After that click record, choose filename and click replay. When you reach the "end" point of your new file click "stop replay" and after that stop recording.

It is OK, if you have only one UE. If you are using more UEs for collecting of data, you will lost some of them. Also TEMS guys did nor recomend to split log files if there is more than 1 UE used for collecting of data.;)

I've tried several times and I never had any problems.
Next Quote is from TEMS 12 User manual.

It is possible to copy material from one logfile to another by recording from a logfile that is being replayed. The replayed part of the file is then copied to a new logfile. This function is handy if you want to study a particular segment of a logfile more closely.
