Quick way to check for VSWR in a DBS3800 or a DBS3900 is to use the DSP VSWR command which gives you a statistic and if you want the real VSWR you can use the STR VSWRTEST command which gives you the actual VSWR for troubleshooting.

Note: The STR VSWR command will influence the service a bit but that is momentary and gives you good info.
