Hello,

Attached file contain RNC (RN4.0) configurable PRFILE parameters. These parameters will overwrite the cell-level parameters. If you suspect your cell parameter is not working properly, it could be that a RNC parameter has higher priority over (overwritten) cell parameter.
These PRFILE parameters are mostly used to activate new NSN features introduced in each RU10, 20, 30.

As always, do not modify RNC parameters without vendor approval. :)
Thanks & rep, if you find it useful.

Example:

Parameter 007:0238 RN30_MAINT_015
Descriptive name
RNC maintenance reservation
Modifiable
YES

Description
From RN3.0 ED2.1 onwards, a new functionality was added to solve possible problems with PS ISHO due to the GSM radio network planning, that is, overlapping GSM frequencies and missing ADJG definitions, which can cause unsuccessful handovers from WCDMA to GSM if BSIC of target cell is not verified before triggering the handover which can cause a decrease of the success rate in ISHO 3G to 2G for PS calls (in case of this kind of network configuration).
The problem is corrected with a better network planning, where the inter-system adjacencies are better defined. This problem can be also avoided with a new RNC implementation, where BSIC is always verified also in case of PS NRT calls. That is against the current RNC specifications, so the implementation is configurable with a PRFILE parameter.
