AOSAN,

DO not charge people for what is freely available on the web.

Share it for free UNLESS it is an original piece of art. Yours obviously is not.

I could argue that you took it from "***********" and you imported it here for increasing your points or at least your reputation.

I hope now you got it; or if not look for help!

KAMY,

As the master of all points,

You guessed it RIGHT!

Free stuff should not be sold here for anything. Post them for free. The same holds for your posts!

ncinta,

DONT GUESS WHAT YOU DONT KNOW AND STOP TO PRETEND AS A HERO..!
1- I never collected this material from *********** rather than from the Vendor...
2- I never put a password for it to collect more reputation as you mentioned maybe you are doing that yourself then you need a help!
3- I have right to collect points for somethings that I tried best to bring it down and share it here........I hope it is clear now; or if not look for urgent help!

1: Keep collecting material from Vendor and post them anyway you like. Free of charge or any other way you like. I posted this many times before, as a best practices policy, before people post: Check the web, this forum and the other similar forums (***********) before you do the act. If not we will call them as we see them - a no prisoners approach and fair to all. It does not really matter whether you took it from a vendor, friend (popular means of transportation on this forum) another site or whatever have you. The fact is that IT WAS NOT ORIGINAL. My suggestion: Do your homework next time!
Otherwise, it is becoming a stupid cheaters' game and not really sharing knowledge.

2: The fact that you put no PASSWORD does not really matter as you still charge somebody five points for something that is freely available. There are new rules about passwords that would prohibit that, by the way.

As far as myself, I do have a default password for site protection purposes. Most of my posts are offered free to the community and I only charge really important files that not everybody would need and really difficult to find. I do my homework and once you check the posts you will see what I mean.

3: You absolutely have a right to post anything you want and collect anything you want and have fun along the way! Just remember that we also have rights!

I think it is not good to set passwords and ask for "Thanks" and Rep.
But since we have a credit-based system here, we need to get these credits to download stuff.
Indeed, we should use "Search" to avoid duplication of threads, but it is okay to collect credits.

Dear ncinta & aosan

The area is a technical/scientific space. We expect that the members focalize on professional/technical subjects, not coming in argue or a discussion. As I see both of you are Senior Members which increase our expectation in your activity. There are many junior or members that see your discusses and judge on the area conditions.
It is better that you keep such conversation in PM/Email and as you see it is necessary, inform administrator or moderators of your conversation result (or even as CC).

It is clear that about 99% of ebooks and about 30% of other documents can be found over internet in other ways free of charge; but it brings some points:
1. If it is free, anyone can go and search it there; as each poster in this forum put the document name and index in his messages, so if you want you can search it over WEB before DL from the area.
2. For now a time forum rules mention NO TNX/REP request for PASS; so in such case the forum laws are respected.
3. For now a time, reposting the others' properties (as his own document) is forbidden; so bringing any document from internet or other site into the forum is permitted.

So;
In here, as first I ask you, please leave such type of discussion. You are more respectful for us that we see such conversation from you.

And at second, till the time that a new decision be made by Forum administrator;

Posting any document founded over WEB in the area is permitted (even in a way to gain points)

[With having attention not to ask TNX/REP and checking not to repost such document if other one has done it before].

Please have attention that bring the final DL link as you referred link (for the subject of mentioning the reference, we will get decision soon).
If any user is interested in finding the document in free; he can do search himself in the internet. You are always free to do that.

* WE are more interested in your special internal documents/materials from RFI/RFP/RFQ phases to Planing/Implementation/DT/Analysis/Optimisation in all Operator/vendor/Contrator area which bring special and good professional information to other users.

I here I note that what I have seen from ncinta'a activities till today were really appreciated and he always does his best to provide really good and useful information for his friends in the forum.

I hope the message is completely clear for you and put a final point for you and other dearly friends. In any case the moderators are at your disposition for any details.

With Thanks to you good comprehension,
Your small friend,
