I heard there is colored one, and black&white.
We need better one, not B&W as sold by Amazon.

It is worth 70 €. (I saw B&W copy, but I would like to have proper one)

If I think of all the procedures to get it in my hands, I give up.

This might be valid for Harry Potter books.
Baen books is publishing .pdf openly for new books.
They found out it actually increases sales for less known authors.

There is very simple reason: I want to see, smell, touch book before I buy it.
On the other hand: when one of my friends discover good book (I saw LTE in bullets...),
then word is spread. And we buy.
Also, I bought several books after I read them on pdf. If I feel I want this book close to me.
Many downloaded books I just browse, and forget.

Now, on false assumptions. Yes, first Harri Holma book was bestseller. We all learned
of R99 UTRAN from it. They made some money.
But today there is no single book: there are some 10 books for LTE newbies, and
several good trainings. With second/third/fourt editions.
For most of us, one is enough to get an idea, and then we just keep browsing
vendor specific docs.

How many of us have to learn LTE quckly? 10 000 engineers world wide?
Maybe less? 200 networks, 5 copies each?
We still borrow paper copies around.

So, when I saw "yet another LTE introduction book", I do not buy.
It has to be different, it has to provide more as what I already have.
It has to answer questions not answered elsewhere.
This one does.
First after Harri "LTE for UMTS " and 3G Evolution: HSPA and LTE for Mobile Broadband.

Corrrection: Second! How could I miss orange one? (LTE Signaling, Troubleshouting and Optimization)

So, again: it is publishing inflation limiting sales, not soft copy downloaders.
For good books from not very known authors, soft copies actually increase sales.

1. this book is not available in forbidden city
2. Most of content of this book are summarized as "bullets" from public docs 3gpp ---> see 3gpp.org
3. Some of books dont have pdf version, if you like those books, buy them (or asking some generous members at finetopix or someone else)
4. I dont know what is your level of presentation, some shared materials related LTE are good enough i think
