Separation of 2 channels for GSM i.e. 1 and 3, 2 and 4 and etc. is more than enough.

The only restriction that can exist in GSM is a co-sector separation. This type of separation depends on combiners used in this sector (not site). For most widely spread hybrid combiners 400kHz (2 channels) separation is fine, while for cavity tunable (filter combiners) it can be 600kHz (3 channels) or even more 800kHz (4 channels). Those separation requirements can be found in equipment spec.

As for reuse separation between sectors, 400kHz is more than enough and no any performance problems can be expected here.
