After upgrade our BSC to 07b version we have a large number of handover failures? Reason in Tems investigation signaling 'protocol error, uspecified'. Pls, help!

Normally it come with wrong setting on Both BSC and MSC .
can you check ciphering mode command may be you one one of your part ciphering is deactivated or vise versa .

Hi Sekit,

Can you be more specific for these handover failures?
Are the handovers in the same BSC, or different BSC but same MSC, or different MSC, synchronised/non-synchronised handover, 2G to 3G handover? Which vendor's BSC and MSC?
